We are pleased to inform our genealogists that, in accordance with its research regulations, the Diocesan Archives of Pécs has made the complete series of parish registers—which form part of the Diocese of Pécs’s parish archives—publicly accessible for research on the MATRICULA platform for Hungarian ecclesiastical archives. E-ARCHIVUM ONLINE RESEARCH - TRANSITION
On August 24, 2026, the migration of the Pécs Diocesan Archives’ E-Archive research service will begin. Starting September 1, 2026, new researcher registrations can be completed on the matricula.hu website (the joint e-research platform for Hungarian ecclesiastical archives), and active researcher accounts will continue to function there. (Help with using matricula.hu.)
